Manufacturer numbers to compare against each zone’s flow.
The old indexing valve (K-Rain 4000 series)
- Inlet: 1¼ in.
- Outlets: 1¼ in. on the 4-outlet model, 1 in. on the 6-outlet model
- Needs at least 10 GPM to operate, at 25 to 75 psi

A typical 1 in. electric valve (Rain Bird 100-DV / 100-DVF)
- Flow: 0.2 to 40 GPM
- Pressure: 15 to 150 psi
- For flows below 3 GPM or drip, use a 200 mesh filter upstream
